Dr. Brandon S. Park became the Senior Pastor of Wayside Baptist Church in October of 2007. Since then our church has flourished with growth and has more than doubled in attendance. Pastor Brandon came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 12. He began to sense God’s call on his life into full-time vocational ministry at the age of 13 and began to preach. He was ordained into the gospel ministry by his home church, First Baptist of Stuart, Florida, after he graduated high school.
God then began to open doors for Brandon to speak at numerous churches and even begin a weekly radio broadcast ministry. At the age of 19, he pastored his first church—Indiantown Baptist Church in Florida. As news of his young age and success became well-known, Trinity Broadcasting Network television scheduled him for an on-air interview and gave him an opportunity to preach God’s Word.
While working towards his degrees, Brandon pastored a church plant in Roanoke, Virginia as well as Edge Hill Baptist Church near Lynchburg, Virginia. In May of 2005, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary awarded him with the highly prestigious Church Growth Award. Pastor Brandon has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministries (minor in Psychology) from Liberty University as well as a Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Park is married to Carrie Ann and together they have three children -- a son named Austin (2006), a daughter named Ava Marie (2008) and Ainsley Grace (2010).
