COACH'S CORNERwhistle

Once again the State Special Olympics Summer Games were a resounding success. We were in Orlando at Disney’s wide World of Sports during the weekend of May 16th. The Wayside team came home with seventeen medals and ribbons. We also participated in the Healthy Athlete Screening and several members received prescription glasses and designer sunglasses for free!

We rode the bus with our friends from CHC. Our members who competed for them are listed below our Wayside team to the right. Many thanks to Assistant Coach Jena Staly without whose help this trip would not have been possible. Praise God for her enthusiasm and dedication to this program.
